LymphaTouch at SUHK Mama women's health physiotherapy centre

SUHK Mama is a physiotherapy centre specialising in women's health, with clinics in four Finnish cities: Espoo, Helsinki, Kirkkonummi and Tampere. The centre treats women through the different stages of life, from the first period to pregnancy, postnatal recovery and all the way to menopause. Its extensively trained physiotherapists and osteopaths specialise in women's health and in maternity and pelvic floor physiotherapy.

Terhi Antikainen is one of the founders of SUHK and has worked as a physiotherapist in her company for 15 years, the last five of them closely focused on developing SUHK Mama. Her mission is to promote women's health and wellbeing. Alongside her specialisation in maternity and pelvic floor physiotherapy, she is a personal trainer, a Somatic Pilates instructor and a Heartful Yoga teacher.

“LymphaTouch has been used in many different ways at SUHK Mama. Getting started with the device was easy thanks to its usability and preset programs. It is light and easy to move between treatment rooms, and between clinics too.

We mainly use LymphaTouch for C-section scars, swelling during pregnancy and after childbirth, and recovery after surgery, for example after breast cancer operations.
